See your counselor with any questions. Harvard announces free tuition for talented students from families of low and moderate income (below $40,000). ACT (American College Test) is a college admissions test also available for students at the end of the junior year or beginning of the senior year. Unlike the SAT, which tests only verbal and math areas, the ACT includes English, math, science, and reading comprehension. ATTENTION ALL SENIOR BOYS:
The Maryland American Legion Boys State Program will be held at McDaniel College from June 15-June 21 in Westminster, Maryland. This program is free of charge as our local American Legion will cover your costs. This is a terrific opportunity to experience your ability to participate and adapt to a structured environment. You will participate in Reveille, exercise, learn about being a Naval Officer, learn about government policies and how a bill becomes a law, and participate in city government activities among other experiences. If you are interested in attending Boys State, please come to the Guidance Office and pick up an application. The applications are due to Mrs. Renn in the Guidance Office by Monday, April 21.
