4-year college bound Seniors - Remember to turn in your Green Counselor Recommendation folder to your Counselor as soon as possible. Don't forget to double check your application deadlines and essay requirements. Also, remember to pick-up your Red Teacher Recommendation folders in Guidance.

Attention Parents: If you have moved, please remember to bring in proof of residency, change of address and telephone number to the Guidance Office. If you have never provided proof of residency to the school, please send it in to the Guidance Office. Proof of residency includes: utility bill (electric, water, cable, etc. - TELEPHONE BILL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED).

Attention Parents : Remember you can keep up to date on your student’s progress and grades via Pinnacle. Go to www.bhs.edu and click on grades. Use your student’s 8-digit student ID number as the login and password.

Attention Parents: Guidance Counselors will be meeting with seniors, performing Individual Counseling Records and credit checks. Letters setting up appointments for juniors and their parents for Individual Counseling Records will be mailed in the fall.

  • Seniors - Please make an appointment with your Guidance Counselor to discuss your college applications Check college deadline dates and submit your green folders with transcript requests, autobiographical information and secondary school reports 2-3 weeks before your deadline date.   • Harvard announces free tuition for talented students from families of low and moderate income (below $40,000). Information is available at http://fao.fas.harvard.edu/index.htm.
  • ACT (American College Test) is a college admissions test also available for students at the end of the junior year or beginning of the senior year. Unlike the SAT, which tests only verbal and math areas, the ACT includes English, math, science, and reading comprehension. For additional information regarding these tests, please see your guidance counselor or register online at http://www.act.org.
